We seek an innovative and productive scholar whose research, teaching, and service are grounded in relevant theories, scholarship and practices such as: racial and income inequity, affordable housing, sustainable and equitable real estate development, community development action, community engagement, social justice, place and health, food systems and related areas. Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in climate-adaptive planning & infrastructure

The School is also inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in climate-adaptive planning & infrastructure. This is a significant new position for the school as societies confront the consequences of climate change, particularly as we transition our infrastructure to foster a more resilient low- or zero-carbon economy. Given that over the next five to ten years, trillions of dollars will be invested in rebuilding and expanding our infrastructure, it is critical that climate-adaptive planning plays a key role in all such investments. We seek an innovative and productive scholar whose research, teaching, and service are grounded in theories, scholarship, and practices of carbon-resilient infrastructure planning, climate change analytics, climate justice, green infrastructure, heat and flood management, and/or the examination of disparate impacts of climate-adaptive infrastructure on various communities across the world, particularly those that are marginalized and underprivileged.
