Healthcare and Mandatory Graduate Insurance

In order to register for classes, you must complete your immunization forms. Stamps Health Services handles this process. We do not have any access to your health forms within the School. You will not be able to register for classes until immunization and student health forms are on file with the Student Health office.

All F-1 and J-1 visa holders and all students employed as Graduate Research Assistants, Graduate Teaching Assistants, or Graduate Student Assistants are required to have student health insurance. The cost of this insurance will be automatically charged to your student account in Fall (for Fall Semester) and in Spring (for Spring/Summer semesters). Students who have an existing health insurance coverage that meets/exceeds insurance requirements can request an insurance waiver. Click on “Student Insurance” below for information regarding student health insurance and/or to request a waiver. The School of City & Regional Planning cannot provide any advice/guidance pertaining to student health insurance. Please contact Stamps Health Services Insurance Coordinator, Jennifer White at: 404- 894-0633 with any questions regarding student health insurance and/or the waiver process.
