Welcome to our 2026 Multi-modal New Student Orientation!

Attend an online meeting focused on course registration, ensuring you have all the details to build your academic schedule. Watch our asynchronous IT orientation video for essential information on using Georgia Tech's digital resources. Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) must attend a specialized online orientation, providing the knowledge and tools needed for a successful start in their research roles. The GRA orientation is for those who have secured a Fall GRA already. Registration for your respective sessions is required by August 7. - Graduate Institute Student Orientation
- If you have not yet attended a Georgia Tech Institute-wide Graduate Student Orientation session, there are virtual and in-person opportunities that can be found here.
- 10:00AM - 4:00PM: Grad Expo
- GradExpo is Georgia Tech's resource fair for new graduate students. Held in conjunction with Graduate Institute Orientation (GradIO), GradExpo gives students the opportunity to engage with various campus units and student organizations and to learn about the resources and services they provide. More than 50 campus units and student organizations will be tabling to provide information about the programs and services they offer graduate students. Students can come and go as they please between 10:00am and 4:00pm.
